Dr. Deepa Takhar
Dr. Deepa Takhar has been practicing for 16 years and is devoted to providing each client with all the necessary information and options
available to them, prior to any procedures or commitments.
Dr. Takhar qualified in Manchester University in UK. After her residency, she obtained experience and credentials in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Psychiatry and Family Practice. She subsequently moved to Saskatchewan, Canada and whilst there she operated a Family practice as well as a walk in Clinic. She also held a position as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Saskatchewan and was actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. After obtaining further credentials in Cosmetic Dermatology, she moved to Ontario. She holds privileges at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Takhar regularly keeps her medical knowledge updated by attending medical conferences and seminars. In the recent past she has been a speaker at a dermatology conference and has been writing a regular column in a national magazine. She is actively involved in local charities and fund raising.
Dr. Jodie Wang
Dr. Jodie Wang graduated with Great Distinction from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, in 1989.
Her academic career was capped with being awarded the Frost Medal for Clinical Pharmacology, and the Award for Clinical Psychiatry.
She completed her Family Medicine Residency at St Josephs Hospital in London and was awarded her specialization in Family Medicine in 1991. Since that time she has worked in the Tri-cities, most notably since 1993 as a member of Dermatology Associates in Cambridge and Guelph where she has been able to focus on her interest in skin conditions. From 2006 to 2009 she was the Medical Director of Illumination Laser Medical Associates in Kitchener, where she honed her skills as a cosmetic injector. She continues to pursue excellence in this field of facial injecting and plans to become one of the first physicians in Canada certified by the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine in expertise in Botox and Facial Fillers.
In her spare time, Dr Jodie Wang also enjoys being known as the mother of Ontario’s largest Minor Hockey family, as all nine of her children are very active in Minor Hockey. She and her husband, 9 children, 2 shelties, and various pocket pets enjoy life in a heritage house in Woolwich.

Miranda – Billings / Accounts
Miranda is in charge of all Bookkeeping and Accounts at Franklin Medical Centre. When she isn’t at the Franklin Medical Centre she can often be found at the Cosmetic Clinic, where she also manages the bookkeeping. When she’s not at work, Miranda enjoys spending quality family time with her beautiful 1 year old baby boy and riding her motorcycle.

Kayla – Nurse
Kayla graduated from Conestoga College in 2010 from the nursing program. Before working at Franklin Medical Centre she worked in various retirement homes. After becoming a mother she decided she wanted to work in a family practice due to the flexibility, fast paced environment, and the range of patients. She joined Franklin Medical Centre in April 2012.
When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her family, travel, camp, and watch movies.
